Bahidorá, one of Mexico's most relevant alternative music festivals, has a fresh river that flows around it. It happens each February inside Las estacas, a park that has a water spring and therefore is home for a wide range of trees and birds, making this a one of a kind venue.
While becoming intertwined with nature, guests listen to an amazing line-up and get immersed in a round experience featuring gastronomy, art installations, workshops, yoga, conferences and even diving in the river.
For their 11th edition, they made an adjustment to their strategy: the festival had grown too big too quickly and was ripped off of many things that made it great in the first place. They wanted to come closer to sustainability with a yet smaller festival, with a greener philosophy. This strategic change, aside the yearly need for a new identity, powered the festival's 2024 redesign.
We came up with a new yet recognizable identity that keeps faithful to what was already established. It appears fun and edgy, while keeping inclusive and versatile, as the festival is many things: amazing DJs, talented musicians, a sunset, a sunrise, mid day swimming, stretching at yoga class, floating in a pristine river, a festival in a natural paradise.
