The combination of numbers and concept gives a stronger message. The goal was to design a system of signs for a department store aimed at middle and lower-middle socio-economic level people. In order to offer a full, detailed message, avoid complications and convey a very simple communication, the icons are a mix of the location in the store department and a product that is representative of itself.
